Islamic Insanity and Lars Vilks

May 12th, 2010
Lars Vilks Illustration of Muhammad

One of Vilks' drawings of Muhammed

Lars Vilks is no stranger to controversy involving Islamic imagery.  His images portraying the prophet Muhammad as a “roundabout dog” earned everything from international condemnation (read as Islamic nations whining like little girls) to the Islamic State of Iraq (a terrorist organization) issuing a $150,000 reward for his assassination. (One of Vilks’ original drawings is shown at left.  If there was any doubt that religion is insanity, realize that this image alone is motivation for the faithful to kill!)

Mr. Vilks was giving a lecture at Uppsala University in Sweden, when images in his lecture display set off the Islamic nut cases in the audience to attack him.  He was head-butted in the chest and punched in the face, but did not suffer serious injury.

I have to applaud the Swedish police in this incident, for showing a remarkable level of restraint when dealing with these delusional, violent nuts. Even the one individual who had to be taken to the floor, was not abused in the process.  Once he was down and immobile, there were no further actions taken against him.  I wish our police could hold the same level of professionalism, but that breed of officer seems few and far between in the US these days.

I also feel that this video shows that at least a portion of the Islamic faithful simply cannot be reasoned with and when even slightly offended, they behave worse than animals in thrashing out at the ones they feel have “attacked their dignity”.

I have news for these people, you have no dignity.  You are hollow and worthless and your actions demonstrate it.

Blasphemy is insanity at its worst.  The very thought that a god or even a prophet cannot stand up for himself, but that he requires his followers to commit violent acts to defend his honor, is the epitome of delusional thinking.  If such a god or saint does exist, he doesn’t need you to defend him.

Just to keep the record clear, there are Christians and Jews who will behave the same way, “protecting” their faith.  This isn’t just a Muslim expression.  The Muslims simply have the lion’s share of public violent lunacy, as the advent of science has tamed the monster that the Christian movement once was in the west and Jewish lunacy has mutated into Zionist lunacy, with Israel promoting their ire in military focus against Islamic nations, rather than mob violence to scattered events.

However, no matter how you look at it, the equation is pretty obvious: Middle Eastern religions are religions of violence.  Read the Koran.  Read the Bible.  The gods portrayed there are selfish, petty, tyrannical, murderous monsters – and they command, right within the pages of their holy books, that their followers behave the same way.

Religion is insanity and it is very difficult to negotiate or reason with the insane.

The Science is Settled, the Debate is Over

April 27th, 2010

The Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming is still trying their damnedest to keep the global warming hype running, but Europe especially (where the press coverage isn’t stifled on the subject) and now the US isn’t buying their bullshit anymore.

Congress shot down the cap and trade legislation that Obama so dearly wanted, postponing the bill indefinitely in the Senate and until 2017 in the House.

Further issues being dug up in the Climategate emails have shown the “science” behind the entire global warming industry to be utterly false.  In fact, it is fair at this point, with all the evidence at hand, to state that those involved at the core of the movement purposely lied about all of the proposed crisis and that most of the actual data and their models used for climate prediction are completely wrong. Furthermore, there is direct evidence of a corruption of the peer review process, black-balling any study or paper which conflicted with the desired global warming hype.

The most telling of the hard data released so far, is what is referred to as the “Readme Harry” document, which describes the painstaking attempt by a programmer to make sense of nonsensical data.  There is so much in this 247 page document that it’s hard to take it all in at one sitting, but many have done just that and broke down the results.

Flopping Aces covers the Readme Harry document specifically, and Small Dead Animals has a slew of useful links on the document and related material.

For those who want to read the document themselves, find it here or here

I have long doubted the stupidity regurgitated ad nauseum from the Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming, as I’ve called them – but this finalizes my stance.  Those pushing the global warming agenda are religionists, with the same asinine mentality of anyone following a faith.  No logic, evidence or examination is allowed in their belief system and so I will discard it like any other superstitious nonsense.

My fear at this point, is that the damage is going to be so overwhelming to the scientific community in general, that it will undermine all branches of science – creating an unhealthy, over-reactive public rejection of science itself. Science as a discipline ends up crucified by the actions of a global warming cult.

As if we didn’t have enough religious stupidity trying to drag us back into the Dark Ages as it was.

On a humorous side note, Micheal Mann, creator of the infamously flawed and utterly debunked “hockey stick” graph, has threatened to sue Minnesotans for Global Warming (M4GW), over a parody video they made, called “Hide the Decline”, aired on Youtube.com.  (I won’t post a link here, because it comes and goes.  Just search for it on Youtube.)

No Cap and Trade, which came to M4GW’s defense, actually desires the lawsuit to come, because it would force Mann to release his data under full disclosure to the court.

Global Warming Causes Volcanoes

April 20th, 2010

On one hand I applaud science for investigating possible correlations in data to determine trends, but on the other I have to shake my head and wonder.

The latest brainstorm, most likely a hot topic because of the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland, is to spend money researching whether or not climate change (read as Global Warming) will increase the frequency of volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis and landslides.

Maybe it’s just my natural pessimism stemming from the Climategate fiasco and the now discredited Anthropogenic Global Warming Church, but it really seems to me that the whole global warming industry has completely jumped the shark.

At least the religious retards on the planet are proving themselves even more crazy, as some have determined that earthquakes are actually caused by loose women.

The Killing President

April 7th, 2010

Glenn Greenwald has a very disturbing article in Salon Online magazine, outlining the President’s claimed authority to kill any American citizen he deems to be a threat to America.

As I’ve said before, welcome to the USSA, comrades.

More Utah Mixed Nuts

April 6th, 2010

Looks like Dell “SuperDell” Schanze isn’t the only loose religious nutcase in Utah.  Paul Drockton also appears to have fallen off the deep end of righteous insanity.

Apparently, he’s been raving on about the Illuminati in Utah for some time.  He had been mentioned to me by an acquaintance once before, but it wasn’t until I stumbled upon his recent two articles on his web site, that I learned how deep the delusion runs.

First he predicts, through a vision he personally received from God nonetheless, that there will be a massive spiritual calamity coupled with a giant earthquake in Utah.  Pedophiles running amok, rampant crime in the streets, dogs and cats living together – you know the drill.

Then he claims that Utah’s “Earthquake Awareness” week is a direct reaction to his predictions.  Certainly the fact that Utah is deep in American earthquake territory, with a major fault running through the Salt Lake valley (where 90% of Utah’s population resides) has absolutely nothing to do with it…

If you want a couple minutes of hysterical laughter, have a look.  I warn you, however, the crazy burns your mind just a little.

Civil Disobedience and the American Community Survey

March 11th, 2010

I got a visit from a federal agent last night.  Not law enforcement, but an official from the US Department of Commerce, specifically the Census Bureau. He was probably at the door to convince me that I needed to fill out the American Community Survey, which they sent to me twice, or to take down the answers himself.  I never gave him a chance to speak beyond identifying himself.

I told him what I had told the last Census Bureau employee who called my home, I consider the ACS to be a gross violation of my privacy rights, I will never fill it out and any further contact either by phone or in person would be considered harassment.  Apparently, the agent on the phone didn’t understand what I had said, for this other drone to be at my door.  Perhaps when I slammed the door in his face the message came across.

Now one might ask why it is that I object to the Census Bureau doing its job?  Because, frankly, it is not doing its job. Article I, Section 2 of the United States Constitution charges the House to make an enumeration of each state’s population, in order to determine the number of representatives that each state has in the House.  The wording is quite clear.

The actual Enumeration  shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct.

Simple and to the point.  Count the state populations, once every ten years after the first enumeration.  My answer to them and the only information required, is the occupancy total of adults living in the home.

The American Community Survey is not only in violation of the ten year enumeration clause, as they are spoon feeding it out to about three percent of the population every year, but it requests data which is simply none of the government’s business! From the start, the questions are very personal and only get worse as you leaf through the 28 page document.

The first question which really stands out is asking for your name.  Then your birth date.

The question immediately following asks if you have Hispanic, Latino or Spanish ancestry and if so, from where?  Mexico?  Puerto Rico?  Cuba?

What is your race? White?  Black, African Am., or Negro?  American Indian or Alaska Native?  Asian Indian? Chinese? Etc.

Once you get done filling in all this for each occupant of the home, the survey continues to probe into your housing affairs.

What kind of house do you live in?

How many acres of land does the house sit on?

In the past 12 months, what were the actual sales of all agricultural products from this property?

How many rooms does the home have?

How many of them are bathrooms?

Does this house, apartment, or mobile home have – Hot and cold running water?  A flush toilet?  A bathtub or shower?  A sink with a faucet?  A stove or range?  A refrigerator?  Telephone service?

How many automobiles, vans and trucks of one-ton capacity or less are kept at the home for use by members of this household?

Which fuel is used most for heating this home?

What is your monthly electric bill?

What is the yearly cost of water and sewer?

What is the yearly cost of oil, coal, kerosene, wood, etc. for this home?

Do you own your home?

What is your rent or mortgage payment amount?

As if this wasn’t intrusive enough and clearly none of the government’s damn business, the personal questions about each household member becomes a nightmare of intrusive query.

For up to five members of the household, you are asked what kind of health insurance coverage you have.

Is this person deaf?

Is this person blind?

Because of a physical, mental, or emotional condition, does this person have serious difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions?

Does this person have serious difficulty walking or climbing stairs?

Does this person have difficulty dressing or bathing?

Because of a physical, mental, or emotional condition, does this person have difficulty doing errands alone such as visiting a doctor’s office or shopping?

What is your marital status?

In the past 12 months did this person get – Married? Widowed? Divorced?

How many times has this person been married?

In what year did this person last get married?

Has this person given birth to any children in the past 12 months?

Last week, did this person work for pay at a job or business?

At what location did this person work last week? (They ask for the full address!)

How did this person usually get to work last week?  Car, truck or van?  Bus or trolley bus?  Streetcar or trolley car?  Subway or elevated?  Railroad?  Ferryboat?  Taxicab?  Motorcycle?  Bicycle?  Walked?  Worked at home?  Other method?

What time did this person usually leave home to go to work last week?

It goes on, and on, asking about all sources of income, from Social Security to Veteran’s Compensation – requesting specific totals.  If for one moment you might suggest that the information is anonymous, think again!  They specifically ask for your full name at the beginning section and again for each individual personal survey section.

You can find an informational copy of this document at the Census Bureau, along with their claim, “Response to both is required by law.” See for yourself that I make no exaggerated claims on this document’s intrusive questioning.

The Census Bureau agent on the phone also claimed that I was required by law to fill out the ACS and send it in.  I can believe that I am required to enumerate the members of my household for the standard ten year census, though I haven’t looked up the code.  Perhaps they even have added the ACS to the required list.  But a law which violates my right to privacy, in violation of the Constitution itself, is not a law I am willing to obey.

It’s called civil disobedience, and in the case of the American Community Survey, I feel such a treatment is perfectly validated.
